What Is A Solar RV Kit?

A Solar RV Kit allows you to plug into the sun and convert sunlight into solar power wherever you are.

  1. Solar Modules - Capture the sun's energy and convert it to DC electricity using photovoltaic (PV) cells.
  2. Regulator - Controls and monitors the flow of  energy within the solar system. Ensures that the batteries are not over-charged and some models can disconnect loads when the battery is over-discharged.
  3. Battery - Batteries store the solar power generated and discharge (release) the power as needed.

Package includes:
• 1 x 50 watt solar module
• 1 x 6amp regulator
• 1 x 38Ah, 12VDC sealed battery

Typical daily energy output:
~9Ah in winter, ~14Ah in summer

Typical loads:
2 x 20W fluoro lights for 3-4 hours, or
Small TV for 3-4 hours
