Solar in Schools

With the success of the “Green Vouchers” for schools program, the Federal Government has evolved the program to include a significant focus on installing solar electric power systems. Eligible schools will be able to reduce their electricty bills and help educate students about the importance of sustainable solutions for our communities.

From July 2008, schools around Australia will be able to apply for funding under the National Solar Schools Program. The program will continue until mid-2015.

Within the Australian Government’s National Solar Schools Program, each school can apply for up to $50,000 per campus in grants to install a minimum 2Kw Solar Electric Power System.
